Account Deletion & Data Retention

1. How to Request Account Deletion

There are two ways to delete your account and erase your personal data fromvyago:

• In-App Deletion (Instant): Log into your account in thevyago mobile app, go to your Profile Screen, scroll down to the bottom, and click Delete Account. Verify the warning dialog to complete deletion.
• Web Request (Manual): If you cannot access the app, you may submit a request by writing to our data protection officer at support@VayGo.app from your registered phone/email.

2. What Data is Permanently Deleted?

Upon selecting account deletion, the following data is wiped instantly from our primary active databases:

• Your profile details (Name, Registered Mobile Number, and email address).
• Associated shop metadata, address, catalog products, and configurations.
• KYC documents, shop banners, and uploaded product images.
• Registered push notification device tokens and local app settings.

3. What Data is Retained & Anonymized?

In compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and Razorpay payment gateway audit policies:

• Financial Transaction Logs: Subscription payment details and general ledger totals are retained for accounting audits.
• Order History: Past order transactions remain in the system for bookkeeping, but all customer-identifiable information (such as name, phone, address coordinates) is scrubbed and replaced with anonymous placeholders.

4. Time Required

In-app deletion requests are executed **immediately**. Once triggered, you are instantly logged out and your keys are cleared. Residual data stored inside server backups is fully purged and overwritten within **30 days**.
